Meet the Founder: Vanessa Siverls

Q: What is the greatest motivator for the work that you do?
A: I see the gap in menstrual health as an opportunity to fill it.
Q: Did you have any key mentors or people who deeply influenced you to continue your current path?
A: My father. 22 fibroids, a divorce, and getting fired left me with my tail between my legs. My father lifted my head and my spirits by encouraging me to keep going.
Q: When you think of the future of FemTech and the work you plan to do through BUPeriod what gives you a sense of hope?
A: Knowing that one out of three Black little girls will be told "You have fibroids," gives me hope that I can be someone who guides them through the challenges that come with that.
BUPeriod P.B.C. is collecting information in order to build for the people. Share your menstrual health lifestyle to help the developers of BUPeriod build the best management approaches via workshops, seminars, blogs, and additional educational resources.
